The Social Topics Report is the companion of the Handbook for Product Social Impact Assessment. It contains the definitions and the reference scales per Social Topic. The introduction of the report also describes the best way to use these and for instance how to distinguish Workers from Small-Scale entrepreneurs and from Local communities, as there can be significant overlaps.
In 2021 a working group reviewed the 2019 edition and added many important clarifications and explanations. Although the references scales themselves we not changed, the performance indicators were reviewed and improved.
This webinar takes you through the highlights of these clarifications and is in fact a very efficient way to understand how the Handbook works in practice
