Confidentiality
While we want to promote open information exchange, some of the workinggroups are closed to create a safe environment for persons to exchange sensitive information. In such closed or semi open workinggroups confidentiality rules can be defined and being alowed acces to this group these confidentiality rules also apply in the next 5 years after you have left group.
When engaged in discussions either by voice or messaging, and when in doubt, in doubt it is wise to consider the Chatham House Rules applicable; this means you can quote information but not in a way it becomes clear what the origin of the information is, or in more exact wording:
When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
